My daughter completed one of your kits for a 4-H project. Besides the excitement of being selected for Nebraska State Fair, we have been notified that it was selected to be placed among other finalists in the Celebration of Youth display at the University of Nebraska Textiles Gallery. It was awarded by professors and designers and selected for professional appearance and creativity. It is quite an honor! Thanks Rags to Rugs! |

I love what you girls are doing.It is saving a portion of our heritage and teaching what use to be when 'waste not want not', was more than just a saying. It was a way of life. every home had a 'scrap bag or box' and nothing was wasted.My grandmother made rag rugs, I am 73, so memories flood when I see your website. I truly love this site. I have made a few rugs for gifts and only one for myself. I have one started from when I was home for six weeks recovering from sugury that I need to finsh. I will be ordering material from you when I start my next one. I struggle with picking out the colors so I will be ordering a kit. |
