I have 2 of my own now and have given 2 away
for wedding gifts. Just today, I got brave
and ordered my first kit to see if I can do it myself.

I was especially touched by the personalized label
made especially for me, the # of my rug made
by Sally and the date which is my 60th birthday.

In the planning of our 50th wedding anniversary,
we made a decision to replace the oriental rugs with rag rugs
to give our blue room a more country look.
I sent pictures to Rags to Rugs and they sent me samples of fabric.
Some would work, other not. It was a process but they
came up with the perfect colors.
We got out my Mom's wedding dress to display in the bed room
that was our five daughters over the years.
We were married on the my parents 25th,
grandparents 50th
and great grandparents 75th.
The rugs arrived and were perfect.
They were handcrafted for me on Easter Day 2010
on the bank of the Republican River by Sally.
Such dedication this business has to it's customers.
They are a blessing and do lovely work.
Our big day is May 21 with our 10 children, spouses,
25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

Back when we decided to remodel our bathroom, I contacted
Rags to Rugs to talk to them about the rugs I knew I wanted them to make..... as we were trying to get a new primitive look.
They sent me pictures of fabrics that were perfect.
My husband even found an hung an old 1876 shutter that had
originally been on our home and stored in a barn.
I was collecting enamel ware and happened to find
the perfect toilet paper holder.
He installed bead board and we found a primitive
wallpaper called pedal spots with a red outhouse border.
I also found a web page with primitive shower
and window curtain ideas.
It all came together when the rugs arrived.
They are just what we wanted.

The round rug is perfect for my downstairs bathroom.
My doggies just love the rug.
I have a lab who is huge, over 100lbs and
curls himself up in a ball to fit on the rug.
Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to grab a picture.
I did get a picture of my old dog Jet.
He is 14 yrs old, and as you see finds your rug to be a great place for a rest!
The other rug gets moved around to different locations.
